Lansing and so on and so forth...

Well, my assignment was Lansing, and there's pretty much nothing there worth intrest of doing...there is some Malcom X thing. So, in well doing I looked up a few more places.

The first place I looked up was Silver Lake Sand Dunes. It's 220 miles, but it has beaches, Dune Scooters, Lighthouses, and Fast Tracks (bumper cars and go carts).

The other place I researched was Niagara Falls. The passport thing is not in effect yet, and by taking the Canada way, it's about 250 miles, which is no farther than Traverse City. Some attractions there are American Falls, Canadian Falls, Butterfly Conservatory, Floral Clock, Hydro Power, IMAX, Journey Behind the Falls, Kurtz Orchards, Lundy's Lane Historical Museum, Minolta Tower, Niagara Grand Dinner Theatre, Queen Victoria Park, Reg's Candy Kitchen, Ripley's Believe it or Not, MarineLand, Nightly Illuminations, Oakes Carden, Skylon Tower, Souvenir City, and White Water Walk, etc.

It could be a little more difficult in one day...but it's worth if if you haven't been there. It could also be a bit more expensive, depending on the things you want to do there...it's free to walk around, shop, and walk from the Canadian side to the American side and all that...Gas isn't as much of an issue because we can fill up before we leave. So, with all that said, I would vote for Niagara Falls, and then Irish Hills.

True...gas isn't my concern either. either way it doesn't matter to me...Did you check out prices for the things in Irish Hills? How much do they cost?
