27
hey everybody! 27 days left till graduation! I'm so excited! I still havent exactlly figured out where I am going to work or go to school after that or where I'm going to live. I have a few ideas but I havent made up my mind yet. I was going to get an apartment and live on my own and actually found a townhouse I could afford but think I've decided against that for now. I decided I'm going to make a decision this weekend and stick with it so pray for that if you think of it. It's a big decision to make! I think I might go outside my "comfort zone." We'll see. A friend of mine from school is trying to talk me into moving to the Virgin Islands with her and her fiance but I dont think thats going to happen! I told her to go and I'll come visit all the time! And a guy from my class is trying to talk me into going to Florida with him during our break but that probably wont happen either. Although I could go for some warmer weather.
All sorts of stuff has been going on over here. Some good, some bad. I'll spare you the details. Knowing that God is soveregin has gotten me through the last couple months. It's comforting to know that God is in control of everything and has perfect timing. And even when everything else in my life feels out of control it's good to know that there is one thing that never changes and there is one person I can put my trust in who will never let me down.
My "field trip" to Lansing was... interesting. I got to be the designated driver after everyone else got drunk, which was a new experience for me! Especially if you know about my wonderful city driving skills and my great sense of direction. I got some good information about some hospitals/home care places and some schools so at least something good came out of it. It was a nice change of pace from the usual class room and hospital routine. My current rotation is in the ICU and is so depressing! It seems like our patients are going down hill and dying right and left. Hopefully not from anyting we've done! I walked into this one room and looked at this patient and one of our students who was in there said yeah... she's been dead for a few hours. That was kinda creapy! If only her poor roomate knew she'd been laying next to a dead lady the past 3 hours.
Anyway... have a good weekend!!!!!
